Super Talent Super Flash Drive Review

The Super Talent Super Flash Drive features a stylish aluminum housing that is built to keep your data safe under tough environmental conditions. The Super Flash Drive features a bright red LED that remains lit once plugged in and flickers with activity. Note that this model is not the DH 200X version which Super Talent claims to possess read speeds in excess of 30MB/s. The model reviewed here appears to be of the previous generation.

Compatible with USB Bootable Linux?:

Using Linux, we were able to create a persistent partition on this device and boot Pendrivelinux saving changes to the persistent partition.

A Benchtest resulted in decent 15.2MB/s average read speeds, and slow 3.8MB/s average write speeds. This drive could easily be used for running portable Linux or portable applications, but it isn’t going to break any speed records.
